Sophie’s Secret Choice. ————————————— I was raised with the saying “Its the choices you make”. I try to apply it to every part of my life. Especially when it comes to travel. How important are the choices we make before, during and after travelling? My answer, VERY. ————————————— I have been fortunate enough to travel the world from a very young age. My parents always praised us for being great travellers, and I can only believe this true due to the smart choices they made during our holidays. I suppose you can say I learnt from the best. ————————————— Here is the start of my travel stories and the choices I make to get me from photo to photo. ————————————
I'm so honored to have my #Peru travel diary featured on Style Me Pretty Living today. See more here http://www.stylemepretty.com/living/2014/01/23/peru-travel-diary/
It's been absolutely perfect: culture, adventure, food, and viva la gente! Thank you Peru!
A city in the clouds, built with hundreds of thousands of stones by the greatest empire of the Americas, a gift from the ancient Incas and a testimony of human ingenuity.
The day before our Machu Picchu trek, the Incan gods sent us to this piece of heaven in the Sacred Valley of Cusco, I'm speechless with gratitude!
In these Peruvian summits capped in white clouds and pristine powder, I hope to, initially lose myself, then...
next, to find myself.
A glassy-eyed woman who never cries, Lima's sky is always pregnant with rain but never rains. Tonight's sunset dares to fight her temper with a thin slice of gold, cutting across Costa Verde, like a rebellious teen in love.
Peruvian goodness, a perfect marriage of South American & Asian flavors, clean yet complex, beautiful and oh-so-delicious!
At once beautiful and pained, layered with complex textures, emboldened with bright golds and deep blues, I can't be away too long, dear Mexico.
Leaning into the afternoon, beautiful Puebla quiet grows roots in my heart #fallingforMexico
